Hi, I'm Michelle!

I'm a mom of three under five, including one with special needs, and the voice behind The Real Mom Manual. My background is in consumer behavior, retail psychology, and eCommerce, where (ironically) I spent over a decade learning how to get people to buy more stuff.

But after moving five times in ten years,
becoming a mom, and drowning in clutter (both physical and mental), I realized I didn’t need better storage, I needed less stuff. What started with 15-minute nap-time decluttering sessions turned into a total mindset shift. I let go of 75% of our clutter, rewired my shopping habits, and finally built the systems I was never taught growing up.

Now, I help other overwhelmed moms simplify their homes and routines, not through unrealistic perfection, but through small, meaningful changes that actually stick. Because the real mental load? It lives in the piles, the chaos, and the pressure to do it all.
